The park on the Ilm
The park along the Ilm River is arguably one of the most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage sites in Weimar, stretching from the Residenzschloss (palace) to Oberweimar. Partly designed by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, it is a striking example of an English landscape garden, brimming with details waiting to be discovered.
